I decided to experiment with a new colour for my pallette, Cobalt blue. Down in my studio I mixed Cobalt blue with Prussian blue, a matt medium, added Cobalt turquoise and Viridian green and applied with a pallette knife really thickly. The result was interesting, I poured liquid gold metal paint to create rivers. After a bit more creation, when it was dry, I finished it with glass beads to create the bubbles of the river, more glazing and varnished. It is in my hallway at the moment and if somebody doesn't buy it very soon- it's going to be mine.
